SALES & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

We are looking for someone who is...

  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoys being surrounded by art

  • Interested in learning new things and takes direction well 

  • Passionate about their work, taking pride and care in everything they do

  • Reliable, precise, and organized

  • A team player that prefers active jobs to sitting at a desk

  • Looking for a part-time job with a minimum of 10 hours up to 24 hours per week depending on the season. (Busy season is August-December) 

  • Able to work independently without supervision after training period

  • At least 18 years old

Tasks Include…

SALES

  • Greeting every customer and interacting with them in an engaging manner

  • Being knowledgeable about Dafri Studios’ products and stories to assist customers in selection

  • Using POS system to accurately complete sales transactions

  • Keeping an eye on inventory and restocking as needed

  • Packing and shipping orders

PRODUCTION

  • Gnome making and prep: hand stamping boxes, gluing, sewing, stuffing, painting

  • Keeping accurate records of gnome parts made

  • Assembling completed gnome boxes, including gnomes, stories and inserts

  • Keeping production area neat and organized

This is a great job for someone that loves to work with their hands, loves sewing or retail. This is a fun but very active job. Dafri Studios has a great team and amazing customers. We strive to provide a cozy shopping experience for our customers, listening to their needs and helping them make the perfect purchase.
